Job Title:       Dispatcher

Department:  Dispatch & Call Center  
Reports To:   Dispatch Manager


The primary responsibility of a Dispatcher is driver scheduling, trip preparation, and customer service. 



• Monitor reservations, vehicle and driver availability
• Assign vehicles & drivers to scheduled reservations and ASAP rides
• Track driver location at all times to ensure efficiency
• Track inbound flights to ensure timely arrival of drivers
• Maintain daily records for Managers review
• Assist with the dissemination of information to drivers regarding Special Events
• Handle customer service issues in a professional and timely manner
• Ability to handle customer reservation calls when needed


• 2+ years of transportation dispatching experience
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel and power point)
• Experience in coordinating fleet and reservation scheduling
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism
• Knowledge or experience with Dispatch software and systems
• Knowledge of  Las Vegas, casinos, landmarks and venues
• Knowledge of major roads & highways in Las Vegas and surrounding areas
• Knowledge of direction (north, south, east and west)
• Superior customer service and inter-personal skills
• The ability to handle heavy call volume and operate multi-phone lines
• Use of office machines, 10 key, computer and two-way radios
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus
• College degree a plus
• Able to pass pre-employment drug test




Physical Requirements:


• Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time greater than two hours at a time

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
• Must have visual acuity to type, read reports, enter and produce data; reports; written statements, etc.

• Be able to squat for a short period of time, less than ten minutes
• Must be able to hear and speak clearly for radio and telephone communications
