Job Title:        Driver Services Attendant

Reports To:    Driver Services Assistant Manager

 

Job Purpose:

The Driver Services Attendant position provides assistance for the Driver Services department of Frias Transportation Management to ensure operational efficiency. This position is responsible for, but not limited to providing drivers with excellent customer service, assisting drivers with end of shift information and duties, as well as locating vehicles on property for drivers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Audit tripsheets using tripsheet audit program
  • Assist drivers with driver check out program
  • Assist drivers with dropping their correct paperwork
  • Assist drivers with dropping their book at end of shift
  • Ensure all machines are working correctly and are stocked with required elements to properly function
  • Ensure end of shift supplies are readily available to drivers
  • Document and report any cash transaction discrepancies or machine jams
  • Report all end of shift issues to direct supervisor
  • Locate and move vehicles within property
  • Report to the Service Shop any mechanical issues identified while moving vehicles
  • Transport drivers in need of assistance in the garage
  • Remove and properly store medallions

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Must have the interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with work related persons
  • Must maintain a neat, professional and well-groomed appearance
  • Must work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must take direction from management and work within a team concept
  • Must follow all Company work rules, policies, and regulations and take corrective actions as required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
